SBI PO Exam Pattern 2019

SBI PO Recruitment is a three-step process. It includes Prelims, Mains and Interview round.

SBI PO Prelims Exam

Negative Marks are awarded for each wrong answer and the sectional cut-off is not applicable.

SBI PO Mains Exam: The Mains Exam also breaks down into two parts: Objective Test and Descriptive Test. Both exams are conducted in Online Mode.

Descriptive Exam Pattern: The Descriptive Test of 30 minutes duration with two questions for 50 marks will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay).

Interview Round: A 20 marks Group Discussion will be followed by a Personal Interview of 30 marks. Final selection will be done on the basis of performance in Mains Exam and Interview.

Syllabus for Prelims Exam

Reasoning: Logical Reasoning, Alphanumeric Series, Ranking/Direction/Alphabet Test, Data Sufficiency, Coded Inequalities, Seating Arrangement, Puzzle, Tabulation, Syllogism, Blood Relations, Input-Output, Coding-Decoding.

Quantitative Ability: Simplification, Profit & Loss, Mixtures & Alligations, Simple Interest & Compound Interest, Surds & Indices, Work & Time, Time & Distance, Mensuration – Cylinder, Cone, Sphere, Data Interpretation, Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Number Systems, Sequence & Series, Permutation, Combination & Probability.

English Language: Reading Comprehension, Cloze Test, Para jumbles, Miscellaneous, Fill in the blanks, Multiple Meaning /Error Spotting, Paragraph Completion. 

Syllabus for Mains Exam

Data Analysis: Tabular Graph, Line Graph, Pie Chart, Bar Graph, Radar Graph Caselet, Missing Case DI, Let it Case DI, Data Sufficiency, Probability, Permutation and Combination. 

Reasoning: Verbal Reasoning, Syllogism, Circular Seating Arrangement, Linear Seating Arrangement, Double Lineup, Scheduling, Input-Output, Blood Relations, Directions and Distances, Ordering and Ranking, Data Sufficiency, Coding & Decoding, Code Inequalities, Course of Action, Critical Reasoning, Analytical and Decision Making.

English Language: Reading Comprehension, Grammar, Vocabulary, Verbal Ability, Word Association, Sentence Improvement, Para Jumbles, Cloze Test, Error Spotting, Fill in the Blanks

Economy & General Awareness: Financial Awareness, Current Affairs, General Knowledge, Static Awareness, Banking & Financial Awareness.

Computer Awareness: Internet, Memory, Keyboard Shortcuts, Computer Abbreviation, Microsoft Office, Computer Hardware, Computer Software, Operating System, Networking, Computer fundamentals/ terminologies.

Eligibility Criteria SBI PO Exam 2019

To apply and appear for the SBI PO Recruitment 2019, the candidates need to fall under the required eligibility criteria: 

(I) Educational Qualification: The candidate needs to be a graduate from any recognised University/Institution in any subject.

(II) Age Limit: The candidates need not be less than 21 years of age and should not exceed 30 years of age as on April 01, 2019. Category wise relaxation in upper age is mentioned below.

Admit Card SBI PO Exam 2019

The SBI PO Prelims Exam Admit Card 2019 released on May 18, 2019.

The candidates can easily check and download their Exam admit card from safalta education portal.

The application link will remain live till 31 May only and the link to download admit card will be activated in June and will remain active till July 2019.

Cut Off SBI PO Exam 2018

After the commencement of the exam, the merit list will be prepared on the basis on cutoff marks. The cut-off score varies according to the category of the student.
